I did my PhD at Georgia State University (Advisor: Prof. Yanqing Zhang) and my Masters at University of Houston Clear Lake in computer science. I work on machine learning algorithms for predicting mental health status of Twitter users. My PhD is generously supported by brains and behavior fellowship.
I am an enthusiast for research on the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, data mining and Analyzing technology for social media.
An interactive framework is prepared to analyze the tweets, depict the happiness index, and compare it. Bad words in tweets are analyzed, and a map showing the Happiness Index is computed for all the US states and was compared with WalletHub data on daily basis.
I was always very passionate about teaching since childhood. I want to teach interdisciplinary courses to inspire students to pursue research in their field of interest. It also gives me a chance to teach students and interns how to change the world into a better place. Teaching is an excellent platform to share knowledge and also to improve my skills. There is a lot of learning involved during the teaching period. I believe that when we are learning to teach, we do learn thrice as many times as we learn.
One of the student groups that I advised got the “Best Undergraduate Project” award.
My motto as a passionate researcher is that I would want to teach interdisciplinary courses to inspire students to pursue research in their interested field.

I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and trying new food, as well as playing video games and watching movies.
